Camp Eureka is a private family camping community on Lake
Stahahe in Harriman State Park, and has been the summer home of the German Ski Club for 75 years! Many of us have grown up
here, and "Camp" holds a special place in our hearts. Each family has a "platform," which is a wooden
structure covered by a tarp roof on which a cabin tent is pitched. Platforms are partially enclosed with kitchenettes, including
propane stoves, and feel like rustic lakeside cabins. At Camp Eureka, we swim, boat, sail, play badminton, hike, relax, and
have lots of parties and BBQs! We recently celebrated the 75th anniversary of Camp with a traditional pig roast - see the
Club Events page! For more about Camp, also check out the Club History page.
